When disasters strike — floods, wildfires, hurricanes, tornadoes, or storms — the legal challenges that follow can be overwhelming. Return only when local officials say it's safe.

2. Call For Help

Dial 911 for emergencies.

Use 2-1-1 for non-emergency assistance, local info & services.

3. Document Everything

Take detailed photos/videos of all damage before any cleanup begins. Keep all repair receipts, hotel stays or emergency purchases and begin a written inventory of losses.

4. Find Shelter

Temporary shelters are always open.

5. Reunite with Loved Ones

Red Cross Reunification Centers are always open.

  • Salvation Army of Kerrville - Accepting hygiene/cleaning kits (no clothes)

Special Benefits for All Employees:

If there is a Plan member with a need for legal help in dealing with any loss related to natural disasters, the plan benefits will be extended to ensure that each member receives the legal coverage they need in order to obtain the benefits to which they may be entitled. This includes extra consultation time, extra time with the attorneys, and extra coverage in the event a dispute arises and need lawyer handling. Non-Plan Members will have the following benefits related to any legal issue that stems from natural disasters:

Members will receive full benefits for all covered legal matters. LegalEASE is here to ensure affected employees have access to expedited support and resources needed to focus on recovery. We are ready to help as best we can with any of our client's employees, even if they are not LegalEASE Plan Members. All extra services, if needed, should be accessed by calling our Advocate Support Center.
